The Plushie That Teaches the Pledge of Allegiance!

I wanted to share a book about America, our flag, and the Pledge of Allegiance with my grandchildren, but I couldn’t find one that felt right—so I wrote one.

Then I had an idea: What if there were a fun, hands-on way to help children learn the Pledge and understand what it means?

I wanted to share a book about America, our flag, and the Pledge of Allegiance with my grandchildren, but I couldn’t find one that felt right—so I wrote one.

That idea became ABC America: Land That I Love and our Patriot Buddy™.

ABC America is a toddler board book featuring patriotic songs, colorful images, and the Pledge of Allegiance, created to introduce young children to the love of country in a simple and engaging way.

Our Patriot Buddy™ was modeled after my grandson. He is a 12-inch soft plushie whose hand goes to his heart when saying the Pledge. Press his heart, and a voice module recites the Pledge of Allegiance—giving children a fun buddy to learn and practice with.

For me, Patriot Buddy is about more than teaching the words. It is about planting seeds of patriotism, building memories, and helping raise a new generation of children who understand the meaning of honor, respect, and love of country. It is something I hope my grandson will remember—and someday pass on to his own children.
